Andrew Scot Frink was born in Salem, Oregon in 1997. He grew up there, too, with a healthy mix of video games and outdoor make-believe to keep him entertained. His love of stories can be traced back to early childhood, where his bedtime stories were the works of a Tolkien and Lewis. With a particular affinity to the Oregon Coast, where he spent a good deal of his upbringing sledding down sand dunes and terrorizing critters in tidal pools, he seeks to inspire a sense of awe and terror that is sewn into the region’s gorgeous landscapes.

He studied Multimedia Production at Lane Community College and worked as a script consultant for a time, before turning his attention to writing full time.
